Day Trip Packages
Zac strives to give you the best experience possible, so he uses the best. May it be spending the day in a top of the line Hyde Drift boat, using a quality Orvis Rod and Reel, or hand tied flies to assure fine craftsmanship. Zac wants to make sure you have a good experience.
What you need: A valid fishing license and Steelhead report card, Waders (if walk and wade trip), appropriate clothes for the weather, and a good fishing spirit!
What is provided: Rod and Reel (you may bring your own if you prefer as well), all flies and other tackle, and a lunch (only full day trips).
A 50% non refundable deposit is required for booking. If you enjoyed your trip, a gratuity is greatly appreciated.

Half Day Walk and Wade
Price: $350. 1-2 anglers. This is a great way to get into the sport if you’ve never fly fished. Or if you just want a short trip to learn a river or even save money. This is the most affordable package, and a great way to get into fly fishing. Walk and Wade trips only available on Putah Creek and the Kings River.

Full Day Walk and Wade
Price: $450. 1-2 anglers. For those who want a serious Walk and Wade session, this is for you. A full day walk and wade session is a great way to get in depth with every part of fly fishing. This is Zac’s favorite way to fish and guide. Spending all day getting to know the river and fish you’re surrounded by. Available on Putah Creek, or the Kings River. Lunch is provided.

Half Day Float Trip
Price: $400. 1-2 anglers. Need a day out fishing but don’t have the time for the whole day? You’ll love a half day float trip. Spend your time in a quality Hyde drift boat, and just have fun fishing. Available on the American, Yuba, and Lower Sacramento Rivers.

Full Day Float Trip
Price: $500. 1-2 anglers. A full day on a drift boat is a special kind of experience. A drift boat allows much more access to be able to fish normally unreachable waters. Spending the day in a quality Hyde drift boat, you’ll have the best of fly fishing luxury. For the serious angler, fishing from a drift boat is the best you can get. Lunch is Provided. Available on the American, Yuba, and Lower Sacramento Rivers.
